Just a note to say I so miss my on-line peeps from back in the day of garden creatures and homeschooling. Charlotte Mason. Dragonflies. Little boys and girls. But life moves on. There was a huge fire near my old home last evening. Very close. I am sad for the old building but glad no one was hurt and no oth buildings were destroyed. Anyway, I am very active on Tumblr at this point. Jason and I are rehearsing for an upcoming gig. I suppose learning music has replaced a lot of other hobbies I had. Well, not that homeschooling is a hobby. Anyway. Love you. That's all.

Hope your gig goes well.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand tumblr?? Hope you enjoy it there:)
ReplyDeleteThank you!! Gig was great. Tumblr is a blog-format social media, uh, thing. I don't think you have to be a member to see my page should you care to drop in. And I am not necessarily abandoning the blog. I love blogging. I guess I am exploring right now.
ReplyDeleteHi Lynn,
ReplyDeleteI miss the old days, too! And not just yours.....my boys are growing (and driving!) and life moves on and looks different. Homeschooling has changed from read alouds and exploring to studying for CLEPS to earn college credit. It's still all good, just different. We love looking back at the "good old days" and remembering them with a smile......and reminding ourselves that life comes in stages and we need to adjust to and embrace them.
I know I don't comment as often anymore, but I still check up on you!
Love back from your old friend,
Connie
Connie, I cannot tell you how good it is to hear from you. You are one of the ladies on my mind. Life does indeed move on! Love to you, and friendship! Thank you so much for your comment. I wish you and your family the very best!
ReplyDeleteTumblr makes it hard to comment on your things... unless you install a comments thingy, I can't comment at all. :(
ReplyDeleteI agree! Going to do better at blogging! Lynn
